Last year I was in a car accident that damaged both my knees. The doctors suggested that I needed surgery to save my knees. However, they refused to operate on me as I was too overweight, and the surgery was risky because of my obesity. I needed to at least lose 50 lbs. quickly to be able to do the surgery. The only way they suggested for me was to have weight loss and Lap-Band surgery to be able to lose a lot of weight fast to save my knees.
Although I had been struggling with my weight for a long time, in an emergency, I was still very hesitant to do the weight loss surgery. I took a risk and decided to pass on the weight loss surgery and lose weight on my own. However, the truth was that it was not something I could do on my own. I had to lose a lot of weight quickly, and because of my health conditions and medical complications from the accident, it was too complicated and impossible to even try to attempt to do it myself.
